Perhaps the only thing that can mess things up at this point is the Fed. As long as fed chairman Jerome Powell doesn’t sound too hawkish, the reality is going to start to set in that oil prices have been focused on the short term and focused on the fact that China may not reopen its economy, are going to face the harsh reality those things are going to happen. Tonight’s inventories may show another crude oil build it may be the last that we see for some time.

I can’t stress enough how tight near term fundamentals are, we are running out of molecules and don’t have enough storage to bridge the gap to potentially looser 2h22 balances.

Remember that US refineries were going to shut down for winter change over soon anyway and thus we're not going to be purchasers for a few weeks. I suspect that this will now add at least a week to the delay. So late September time frame. All rips are to be sold before that 20MM Barrel reserve is available in Oct.
